Dinesh Chandraratne is an ardent innovator, who is looking to bridge the perceived gaps in Electronic, Electrical Engineering, and other fields, a different kind of businessman who is also the Head R&D Division of Cosmecx.

A product of Rahula College, Matara, and S. Thomas’ College, Mt. Lavinia, Dinesh had been exposed to working with multiple industries, regulators, and research organizations, and also worked with many leading foreign Principals.

As an innovator, Dinesh possesses a keen interest in learning novel subjects and is always ready to accept new challenges, acquire up-to-date knowledge over many other professionals, making him one of the few in his fields of expertise, like Surge and Lightning Protection, analyzing electronic and electrical products & systems to the PCB and component levels.

He had instrumented in setting-up a new standard, for Independent testing & certification of LPS, and the said format is used by the industry regulator since 2018.

Dinesh is a rolling stone that never quits learning, and accepting challenges in system integration and engaged in developing new products and solutions, and acting as a conduit between the market, and products or solutions.
