Sumudu Rajakaruna

Sumudu Rajakaruna is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who has specialized in Civil, MEP and Architecture, and is a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, is our Head of Quantity Surveying, who has also achieved Corporate memberships from Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and Chartered Memberof Institute of Quantity Surveyors in Sri Lanka, after completion of his Bachelor Degree (B.Sc.) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. 

A product of Maliyadeva Model School, Kurunegala; Mr. Sumudu commenced professional career as a Quantity Surveyor at Sanken Overseas (Pvt.) Ltd. Sri Lanka after the graduationacquired proficiency from Civil Engineering to MEP and Architectural in projects.

Mr. Sumudu was exposed to works involved preparing all required documents for Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying services in a broad spectrum of projects ranging from Infrastructure works (Highways and Bridges, Water Supply and Irrigation), large-scale mixed-use developments, Commercial, Residential, Hospitals / Healthcare, Luxury Hotels as well a Refurbishment work.

He has worked at several leading Companies in Sri Lanka and overseas as Consultant QS, Senior QS, QS Manager and was also the former Contract Administrator and Senior QS for Arab Engineering Bureau, Qatar.

Mr. Sumudu possesses over fourteen years of experience, and is a widely known, recognized, and respected professional in the industry who is having the highest form of professionalism, a perfect resource for our vibrant MEP Team and was duly selected by the Board of Directors to be our Chartered Quantity Surveyor in the respective Division.
