Mihindu Karunaratne is a Qualified IT Professional who has graduated from a leading university in UK - the Buckinghamshire New University, and NIIT Sri Lanka. As a software developer, he served word’s leading Global IT Companies such as NEXUS (now infor) also as a developer and manager. Mihindu excelled in many computer languages, frameworks, and helped to develop several platforms, portals also for Cosmecx Consortium for many years. He is having over sixteen years of experience behind him.
Mihindu had been exposed to working with multiple industries, regulators to demanding global customers, and is always ready to accept new challenges, knowledge over many other IT professionals, and also handled highly classified projects that required the highest skills.
A product of Mahanama College, Colombo, having a fine knowledge in Electronics that enable us to successfully integrate sensor based online solutions for many industries.
As a technology-driven Company, we value his work and invited him to join as Non-Executive Director and Head of IT. We believe, like other HoDs, Mihindu would be keen on achieve his Chartered Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters - CILA (UK) where he could also handle, highly demanding cyber insurance claims, and cyber security matters.
Mihindu had extensively worked with Dinesh (Head of R&D) when they were engaged in developing of Mobile Apps and online portals to conduct Risk Analysis integrated with dash-boards for handling insurance Risk Inspections and Insurance Claims efficiently.
